Work on new junction of the A14 in Northamptonshire could start by 2021
The multi-million-pound development, which has already seen the opening of Hayfield Cross Primary School, will see a total of 5,500 houses built.
Documents discussed at last night’s (Thursday’s) East Kettering Liaison Forum gave a planned timeline of the key events in the development.

Hide AdIt is hoped that work building houses will start in Easter this year, with work on access roads also starting around that time.
A delivery timetable is expected for the creation of the new junction which could be complete by August 2016.
The documents suggest it is “possible” work on the junction could start on site in 2021/2022 or earlier.
Access to the development has been a controversial issue since the development was rubber-stamped.
In 2014, accesses were granted by councillors despite serious opposition from residents.
