The residential home has been named as the best ‘boutique’ care home in Northamptonshire, which bosses say they are extremely proud of.
Nikul Odedra, owner of Grangefield Care Home, said: “Our aim has always been to create an elegant home that looks more like a boutique hotel than a care home.
“When you take pride in how a place looks and feels, it then sets the tone on how the home operates.

“This award is particularly special since we had a Covid-19 outbreak in January 2021 and we all worked so hard to nurse our residents back to good health.
“We have an amazing staff team and this award rewards them for their huge effort.”
The GHP judging panel was impressed by the care home’s activities, staff culture and attitude, as well as the use of social media to keep relatives up-to-date.

“Grangefield even has its own Facebook page, which provides families with updates on activities and events.
“Using this platform, the home regularly uploads Tik Tok videos of staff and residents singing and dancing.
“As well as the care home, Grangefield has a separate homecare operation that helps elderly people continue living in their own homes.

Manager, Wendy Hambrook, added: “Our greatest asset is our wonderful and dedicated staff team.
“Having the right team in place is essential for Grangefield since we set such high objectives. “Being a small and close-knit home, allows us to be completely focused on our clients.
“Staff have a real sense of ownership and take huge pride in what they do.”
