VIDEO: Northampton homeowner captures '˜terrifying' footage of suspected burglars invading her property
Footage released by Sherie Wright, who lives in the Weston Favell area, shows three balaclava-clad men who she believes broke into her property in the early hours of the morning.
The alleged raiders were disturbed by Mrs Wright’s two large schnauzer dogs who chased them out of the property before they could steal anything.

Hide AdMrs Wright, who was at home with her husband, son and mother-in-law on the night of the burglary on January 18, said the review of the CCTV footage had shown how much time the men spent outside her property.
She said: “It has terrified us all beyond imagination.
“I just want to warn other people in the area that even if they think their property is safe with CCTV cameras this can still happen to you.
“The CCTV shows they waited in the garden for an hour and 40 minutes until we went to sleep.
“The dogs are our saviours really. I don’t know what would have happened if it hadn’t been for them.”

Hide AdMrs Wright said nothing had been taken by the burglars but the incident had left the whole family feeling less safe in their own home.
She said: “We don’t have anything of great value in the house.
“The police said there had been other burglaries in the same area that had been committed in a similar way.”
The burglar happened shortly after 2am on Tuesday, January 19, at the property in Patterson Close in Weston Favell, Northampton.
