Staff leaving shifts at Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals greeted with free flowers
Staff leaving Northamptonshire's general hospital's after their shifts were greeted with flowers and thank-yous this weekend
Bunches of flowers were given away outside Northampton General and Kettering General on Saturday, Sunday and Monday by staff.

Hide AdThe 2,300 bunches were provided for free by Lidl supermarket, which said they wanted the flowers to be a token of appreciation to the hardworking doctors, nurses and support staff working in incredibly difficult circumstances.
Meanwhile, logistics company Knights of Old transported the flowers to the hospital for free.
Ryan McDonnell, chief commercial director at Lidl GB, said: "This Mother’s Day, we wanted to redistribute this surplus supply and show our thanks and appreciation to those working tirelessly through these extraordinary times.
"We hope that our beautiful bunches will help raise the spirits of those who receive them."
