“We truly miss you all”: Picturedrome Northampton announces temporary closure
Picturedrome Northampton announced today (December 17) that they will be closing from Sunday December 20 until Northamptonshire moves back into tier one under the government’s COVID winter plan.
The popular venue - situated on Kettering Road - said, in a Facebook post, that it was losing money under tier one and described tier two as “much worse”, stating that “no household mixing is really killing the trade.”

“We truly miss you all, we miss our sellout events, we miss dancing, we even miss women taking eight other women to the toilet.
“Have a great Christmas and enjoy time with your loved ones. See you soon.”
The restored picturehouse venue is a hotspot for gigs, club nights and films as well as its cafe and bar with a rooftop terrace.
